               CHAPTER-1:1:28 (NEW SETTLERS)-DAY-28     

    Eli and Ami Jankowsky were both up fairly early that morning though it was already light out as they were getting up for the day.They both had to take turns in the washroom and eating breakfast after getting up.It was raining on that late fall Saturday morning and they were going to be busy tending to their indoor garden and hope to get to the fall festival later on in the morning.

    Ami got out to start tending to the garden as Eli was getting ready for the day and it wasn't too long before she joined him in working on their garden.The garden kept them busy for most of the morning and they were trying to get ready to go to the festival when a broken shower delayed their departure because nobody could use the washroom before it was fixed.They ended up leaving a little late.

    They didn't make it to the festival until about 3PM and it was very dark with the heavy dark clouds from the day's heavy rain.They took turns visiting the haunted house attraction at the festival and looking at the gravestones there before they decided to try other things out like the apple bobbing and playing soccer since it was at the fall festival.They hoped it wouldn't start raining as they played.

    Eli and Ami started playing soccer for a while as it got later in the afternoon and towards evening since it was getting to 5PM by then and they were both ready to play soccer for a while though it would't be kept up for too long because they were getting hungry and wouldn't want to go to bed hungry and smelly because they didn't bother to eat or shower before bed.It was getting later as they played.

    They were still playing soccer when it was getting close to 6:30 in the evening and it had been raining though it was starting to rain harder and it was getting stormy out.They decided to quit playing and get inside to use the washrooms and get something to eat before they left to get home before it started getting very late in the evening.They didn't leave the festival until it was 9PM.

   Eli and Ami still had to ride their bikes home after the festival visit and it was a bad thunderstorm taking place outside.It was pouring rain as they both raced back home and got inside to start getting ready for bed.They both got a nasty shock when they noticed that their sleepwear wasn't very warm and was meant for spring or fall and it was near to the start of winter.They changed into warmer sleepwear.

     It was 9:30 at night by the time they were both getting into their sleeping bags and going to sleep for the night.
