                          CHAPTER-1:1:2 (NEW SETTLERS)-DAY-2

Eli and Ami Jankowsky both got up early and got to Harden House to get themselves ready for the new day just as the sun was starting to rise. They both felt it was time to get started on building up their savings until they had enough to be able to start building and build the house gradually over time.
Eli was planning on them starting their family after they'd saved enough money to be able to stay out of the work force until their children were at least school age.Ami also didn't want to rush into having babies and end up not being able to afford the cost of raising children without them both having to work at full time jobs while they had toddlers.
Eli got started working on harvesting produce from the smaller plants and would be working very hard on it for most of the day until they finished by late afternoon. It was still early and it was getting very warm outside which meant it would be a very hot day later on.She wanted to get the work done so they could sell the produce and earn some cash.
This did seem like what they would've had to do back home except that they were making their own money and could keep the cash earnings from selling the produce as long as it was either from their own garden or a community garden. They knew it was legal to sell community garden produce.
Ami was starting on the fruit trees while Eli was starting on the smaller produce and he kept himself busy on the produce for most of the day though he was finished working the fruit trees early in the afternoon and ready to start in the other garden area.
Ami also remembered having no shelter and it was what eventually forced them to start heading to look for new lives in North America as pioneers out west in Oak Leaf.It started getting later in the day as they were both working very hard at harvesting produce from the garden plants. They were both hoping to one day have that legacy of being wealthy and be able to have that nice house on their lot.
It was early afternoon by the time they were both working the smaller garden plants and it was a hot day as they thought it might be.They both knew that the hard work was going to end up paying off in more cash to put into savings for starting a family.
Eli was also thinking about having the money saved up so they'd have cash reserves for starting the family without having to work while they were trying to raise babies and toddlers.Their new home was going to be big enough to carry the family and allow it to be passed on to their youngest kid. They thought it would usually be the youngest daughter who inherited the family home.
Eli and Ami ended up finishing in the gardens by 5:30 in the evening and got into the washrooms at Garden House to start getting washed up and ready for dinner. It was going to be bowls of soup for dinner again and that was to continue until they got their house built and were able to start cooking their own food in their kitchen.
They both got to the grocery store by 6:30 and were getting the produce sold for 1000$ in cash and getting ready to head for their own lot after everything was sold. They both had to get back and get ready to clean up the mess on their lot and get ready for going to sleep.
Ami got back first and could see that he was going to have to pick up the trash bin and get the trash back into the bin before he could pick up the old newspaper. It was 7:30 by the time he got things cleaned up and would be ready to get into bed.Eli was also on her way home at that moment and due to arrive very shortly after Ami arrived.
They were also going to have bills to pay and other things to worry about as they built their lives up and got settled into the new town and their new adopted homeland.Ami was also thinking about being a homemaker and looking after the kids while Eli worked if anybody did work.
Eli and Ami didn't get to sleep until 8PM despite their best plans to be in bed by 7:30 and they were asleep soon after and having great dreams and sleeping peacefully. It was a very warm night and they were lucky to be able to camp out.
