            CHAPTER-34-SG-Y-2-S-1-D-11-15 (LATE SPRING)

The residents of Oak Leaf had managed to survive to late spring in the year of 1846 and were about to work on making it to summer because they all had plans to expand their houses and work on getting ready to attempt to start families. They still had larger indoor gardens and would have to phase that out and work with smaller gardens while they were attempting to have babies. It was great that both families had survived that first winter out west as pioneers and would be able to have their own land and be independant.
Eli and Ami Jankowsky were tending to a very large indoor garden and intended to keep it up for a while though they were phasing it out over the summer and coming fall. They were managing to get through their daily routine every morning and they were using most of the produce to stock their own fridge with ingredients for cooking. They were doing that so they wouldn't have to shop for ingredients.
Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch were also having to deal with a very large indoor garden and theirs had gotten so big that they were already starting to phase it out. They had wanted to reduce it in size for some time though they couldn't until the plants began to go barren. They'd gotten too eager to get a big garden going earlier and overestimated how much they could handle and had to tone it down.
The residents of Oak Leaf would also take time to study and learn new skills whenever they could on their iPads. They were also tending to their large gardens every day even if they had work.It was also starting to get hot and summerlike out there since it was late spring and summer was about to start very soon. There were still a few more days left in spring before it would be summer.
Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch started spending more time studying gardening skill on their iPads because their skill level was still too low and gardening was still very slow. They ended up gaining a few skill levels of gardening from a good day of study in theit kitchen. They weren't wrried about work because it was love day and they had the day off from work so they could tend the garden later.
They were tending the garden later and only had to stop at their usual time for getting ready to leave for work to use the washrooms before getting back to work in the garden. The work went faster in the garden after taking that time to study and gain more gardening skill earlier in the day. They ended up getting the work done in the evening before the time they got off work.
It was the last day of spring when Eli and Ami Jankowsky decided they both needed to work on some skills and ended up hanging out at the library to study on their iPads. They still felt that their gardening skill needed to be improved a little and studied it for a while on the iPads. They also studied other skills like athletic and fishing on their iPads while they were at the library until time for work.
The residents of the town were all making their plans for the coming summer like adding rooms to their houses and extending their living space or adding washrooms to their workshops. They were also planning to scale back on their gardens to reduce them to smaller more managable sizes for couples about to start families.
It had been an exciting time in the spring of 1846 in Oak Leaf and they were expecting to see more interesting changes over the coming summer as the residents improved their homes. They were also planning to start saving their funds up for starting families because they all knew how expensive it was to raise children with them outgrowing things like cribs and needing bikes.
