                     CHAPTER-38-SG-Y-3-S-1-SPRING           

    It was finally spring for the town of Oak Leaf and the residents were all grateful to have survived the winter though there were some lost travelers who ended up moving into town and becoming residents.They were Davis and Lacey Bell who'd gotten lost in a blizzard in the winter and had to crash at Garden Market until the spring when a house would be ready for them to move in.

    It wasn't too long before the residents were finding their food was running out and they were having to eat spoiled leftovers as the ingredients ran low.The Jankowskys were extending theit house to prepare for the baby they were trying to have.They'd already tried to get pregnant twice and not managed yet.Nobody else was ready for babies yet and the Bells were too new.

   It was very late one night when a strange device appeared at the graveyard.Davis Bell ended up being the one to investigate it that night.She went to have a look at the strange device to find out what it was.It started acting crazy and a strange guy fell out of it.She got asked to help him find some things he called power cells so he could fix the device and be able to return home.

     She talked to the guy called Emit and found out he live in the area though it looked different when he lived there.The hospital looked different with new siding and the city hall was a little bigger with a second storey.He also noticed fewer buildings than he remembered and a lot more empty space was around town than was the case in the Oak Leaf he knew which had more houses and farms.

    Davis was late in getting to bed and would up very overtired the next day when she got up later in the morning.Lacey had slep through the late night excitement.They got up later on and had gotten through the next day though they both went to bed earlier the next evening because Davis had stayed up too late after getting her sleep disrupted in the night when that strange device appeared in town.

    Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch had been tending to their garden all spring and it was mid-spring by then.The Bells had moved into a tiny starter and were getting settled in there though they planned to move up when they'd saved up some money.It was still getting cold enough most nights for frost to form on the ground in the night and to take most of the morning to thaw out in the daytime heating.

    The Jankowskys were getting into trying to start a baby over the next few days and they started with a lot of romance first.They were also adding onto their house to make sure they had room for the new baby when it was born.It was also getting later in the season and summer was getting closer to arriving at that time.It was likely that the first generation would have no school to attend.

    The next few days passed quickly in the town and most of the residents were still getting ready to expand their families or trying to work on adding to the family.The Jankowskys were still trying to get started on their first generation though that meant having to get pregnant and giving birth to the baby.It was still getting fairly cold at night and warming up in the morning when they sun came up.

    The Jankowskys started going at it again because they were ready for their first child and wanted to get that baby started.It was happening over the next two days that they were trying for a baby in the morning and again in the evening every day though it was warmenr weather by then and it didn't frost up every night.The Ivanovitch family had been bust with adding to their house to add more space.

    The Jankowskys had been busy keeping up with their work schedules.They'd hardly had any time to be trying to have a baby though they did find the time to try two more times.The two days did end up passing by very quickly with them being busy and not having time to become bored.Eli felt sick one morning and threw up from what she thought was food poisoning from burnt food.

    Eli had been getting sick a lot over the next few days and it started to become clear that it wasn't bouts of food poisoning from badly cooked meals when she wasn't eating burnt or spoiled food at meals and was still getting sick.It was caused my morning sickness and a pregnancy test had shown that she was in the early stages of pregnancy which would last for 30 days and end with the birth.

    The Bell family had settled into their starter home and also decided on getting an island counter and barstools for their new eating area.They also got a bunk bed for sleeping though it was a cheap version.They spent time studying skills on their computers and got some of the skill levels improved.It was late in the season and summer was coming very soon with hotter and dry weather as time passed by in the town.

    Eli and Ami Jankowsky were also dealing with the last day of spring and it decided to start raining while Eli was clearing out old newspapers and had begun to show as being pregnant just at that moment.They'd already gotten a second bedroom built and their house was ready for the family they were trying to start at that time.She was expecting to have her baby sometime in the fall later in the year.
    The residents of Oak Leaf had made it through spring and were getting ready to deal with summer with locusts that could wipe out their crops and fires that could burn them out of their home.They could have drought kill off crops as well and sometimes they got a great harvest and everything would go very well for them.A wet summer could bring flooding and even cause flash floods if it was raining too much and the ground got saturated from the rain.
