    It was the beginning of fall for the residents of Oak Leaf and the year was still 1846 and would remain so until the end of that upcoming winter.It was still very hot and sunny like in the summer during those early days of fall and the town residents were all busy studying their skills on their iPads.They still had one more season left to get any building and rearranging done on their houses before winter arrived and brought snowstorms with it's arrival.
    It was still early fall when the newest residents in Oak Leaf decided to start looking at expanding their house again.They hoped to get it done before winter arrived and the Jankowskys were still expanding their house though they needed to change the layout of their house and couldn't do it unless they moved everything out.

   The Ivanovitch family had been working on studying and tending their garden though it was beginning to shrink down as the plants went barren and didn't get replanted with new ones.It was still very hot and sunny like in the summer as the town entered it's first days of fall.The best things Tanner and Tracy could do were to start reducing the garden and to work on their house before winter hit the area.

    Eli and Ami Jankowsky emptied out their house one day in the fall to get the walls down and the layout changed.They had needed to make the changes because they wanted more open space in their house.It was almost mid fall by then and nobody wanted to be unable to fit children into their homes.It was half way to winter by the time they started working on their house again to get it updated.

    Eli and Ami also had both gone to the town pool to enjoy themselves for a while with their house in chaos with nothing left in place while they ripped walls down and got new ones built.It was taking them a few days to get the house fixed up with the layout they wanted to have.It was to be an open layout with bedrooms added on as extensions to the basic shape of the house and the washroom was bigger.
    It had been a few more days since the Jankowskys had been redoing their house and the Ivanovitch family was also planning to build another addition on their house.They had wanted to extend their family living space and make room for adding another bedroom on in preparation for when they were starting a family.
    Late fall was about to arrive for the residents of Oak Leaf and they were fixing their houses up and getting ready for the coming winter.It had been a brown winter for 1845 and they were expecting to get a white winter this time around for 1846.They hoped they wouldn't run out of supplies before winter ended.

   Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch were already making their preparations for the coming winter by growing produce and harvesting it from their indoor garden in the fall and continuing it through the winter when the time came.It had remained mild for most of the season so far and they were expecting frost to be forming overnight already though it hadn't happened yet because of the warm weather.

    It started getting dark out for the Ivanovitch family after they'd been working hard all day getting the produce harvested from their garden.They had eventually stopped working to get ready for bed and to get settled down for the night.It did get cold and frost covered the ground as was usual for that time of the year.It was the first night frost formed on the ground and that was unusual.

    They were up early the next morning and it was still cold with frost on the ground though that cleared up later in the morning when the temperature rose.It was time the residents of Oak Leaf started getting themselves ready for the coming winter since it was expected to be cold with tons of snow.They had to start to stock up on ingredients for cooking meals before fall was over.

    They had paper deliveries every day and they were spending time studying skills on the iPads to gain their skills.It had been a mild day for the town and there weren't going to be too many more that year since fall was also ending very soon.It wasn't long before the weather would begin to turn cold and raw with rainstorms and with eventual snowstorms or blizzards as winter started.

    They got frost in the evening as they were busy tending their garden since they'd been busy earlier and had no work.They had to get that work done and decided to study for a while afterwards.Everybody in town was busy stockpiling their harvested produce in preparation for the coming winter which was expected to be a white one.It was already late in the season and winter was a few days away.

    The Oak Leaf residents had been making sure to get to work on the days they did have work shifts scheduled.It still got warm enough for the frost to thaw during the days though it came back every evening now.The town was under greater pressure to make sure they were ready for the coming winter since it was into the last days of fall with a cold snowy winter being expected to come in a few days.

    The locals were still doing a lot of things like studying to improve skills and to find new things to do in the winter.Tanner and Tracy Ivanovitch were busy spending their time studying skills on their iPads unless they were heading to work for the day.They ended up having work that day and stopped studying at 3:30 in the afternoon to get ready for work by 5PM so they could arrive on time at work.

    There was an outlaw passing through town one night who decided to try to rob one of the local families in Oak Leaf.The burglar alarm alerted the sheriff to the outlaw and caused a disturbance that woke the Jankowskys up in the night.It was later than usual when they got up in the morning because the intrusion disturbed their sleep and kept them up for a while so they lost some of their sleep.

    It was now the last day of fall and everybody in town was busy with the last-minute preparations to be made before the arrival of winter the next day.It just happened to be a mild and sunny day as was often the case on the last day of fall.The locals were all spending the day studying again as usual since they wanted to improve some of their skills before winter arrived with the cold weather.
    The residents of Oak Leaf still had things to do like getting into winter outfits and making sure outdoor furniture got packed away for the season if they had any.Nobody knew if it would suddenly be cold when winter arrived or might start out mild and gradually get colder as the season changed.
